For her devices, the princess chose a stylish belt, Laura Lombardi chain pendant, and a pair of streamlined black heels from Prada.
But while Kate looked incredibly classy, technically speaking, she did break a little-known design guideline during her visit with her choice of shoes.
'We suggest wearing practical clothing and flat shoes,' the V&A East Storehouse's site checks out. 'The metal grid flooring is not ideal for stilettos or kitty heels.'
However, the princess appeared entirely at ease and masterfully managed the uneven floorings, even while using a pair of difficult heels.
When inquired about Kate's choice of footwear, Tristram Hunt, the director of the V&A, told PEOPLE magazine: 'She is a pro! She dealt with that!'
He included: 'She had an extremely energy. She was very energetic and focused. We last saw her about 2 years earlier.
